class society

فارسی

1 فلسفه:: جامعه طبقاتی

Through Kafka's example, this paper will argue that an alien will of the state inherently emerges from bureaucracy, itself a social system common to all class societies. Further, this paper seeks to illuminate through the analysis of experiential prose, how the bureaucracy, an aspect of all historical class societies, alienates political action from the control of its subjects and alienates the state from society. Indeed this political will that emerges from the state machinery, and is alienated from the society in which it develops, is an aspect of all class society. This quotation indicates that individualism and independent consciousness are not stable or consistent elements in class society due to political alienation. The first question is answerable in Kafka's case through application of Rancire's concepts of 'distribution of the discernible' and the Marxist view of the state as an aspect of all class societies, not only capitalism.
